コーポレートベンチャーキャピタル（CVC）に関して専門性と経験を有し、SHIONOGIにおける継続的なパイプライン創出、研究力向上、新規事業確立のため、自身のネットワークやパートナリングイベント、公知情報などを活用した探索と評価、社内提案からトランザクションまでを統括する。将来のSHIONOGIにとって有効と考えられる出資計画・戦略を自ら提案・統括するとともに、スタートアップの探索、コンタクトを主導、ディールフロー/ポートフォリオマネジメントを行う。
With expertise and experience in corporate venture capital (CVC), oversee the search and evaluation using one's own network, partnering events, publicly available information, etc., from internal proposals to transactions, in order to continuously create pipelines at SHIONOGI, improve research capabilities, and establish new businesses. Propose and oversee investment plans and strategies that are considered effective for the future of SHIONOGI, as well as search for startups, lead contacts, and manage deal flow/portfolio management.

・3年以上のヘルスケア業界におけるスタートアップ出資に関する実務経験
・法務、経理、財務に関する一般的な知識
・スタートアップ出資における知識
・事業性評価を行い、出資候補をソーシングできる能力と経験
・創薬R&Dに関する一般的な知識
・膨大な情報から必要な情報を取り出し、解析・分析し、見える化するITスキル
・幅広いライフサイエンスに関する知識・好奇心
・ライフサイエンス分野での幅広いグローバルな人的ネットワーク（国内外、産学官問わない）
・英語でのコミニュケーション、文章作成能力

・ライフサイエンス分野での幅広いネットワーク（国内外、産学官問わない）
・事業計画立案・見直しができ、出資先の成長戦略案を作成できる
・出資先の経営状況に合わせた支援ができる
・CVC運用経験者
[Essential requirements]
- 3+ years of practical experience in investing in startups in the healthcare industry
- General knowledge of legal affairs, accounting, and finance
- Knowledge of investing in startups
- Ability and experience to evaluate business viability and source investment candidates
- General knowledge of drug discovery R&D
- IT skills to extract, analyze, and visualize necessary information from a huge amount of information
- Knowledge and curiosity about a wide range of life sciences
- A wide global network of people in the life science field (both domestic and overseas, both in industry, academia, and government)
- Ability to communicate and write in English

- A wide network in the life science field (both domestic and overseas, both in industry, academia, and government)
- Able to draft and review business plans and create growth strategies for investees
- Able to provide support tailored to the management situation of investees
- Experience in CVC management

SHIONOGI製薬でも直接のスタートアップ出資や、VCファンドへのLP出資を行っていますが、まだ経験、ノウハウ共に構築途上です。近年構築しているVCネットワークも活用し、将来のCVC(Corporate Venture Capical)活動につなげるためにも、その実務経験があり、活動をリードできる方を募集します。
SHIONOGI Pharmaceutical also invests directly in startups and makes LP investments in VC funds, but we are still building up our experience and know-how. We are looking for someone who has practical experience and can lead CVC (Corporate Venture Capital) activities in the future, utilizing the VC network we have been building in recent years.
