◇職務内容（About the position）
• 治験の設計と実施に当たって、医学的、科学的専門知識を提供する。
• 医学的および科学的専門知識を背景とした臨床的判断に基づき、開発プログラムの開発計画に戦略的提言を行う。
• 安全管理部と協力して、有害事象の分析と評価を行う。
• 治験におけるメディカルモニタリング。
• 申請のための文書の準備の支援とレビュー。
• 規制当局との会議への出席。
• CROマネジメントにおける医学的、科学的観点からの支援。
• プロトコル、クリニカルスタディレポートの作成支援。
• 社内外の科学専門家との関係構築/維持。
• 開発本部メンバーへの基礎的医学知識の共有と教育
• 導入品評価のサポート
• 社内の意思決定機関に対する医学的、科学的な情報の提供
• Providing scientific and medical expertise to the design and implementation of clinical studies
• Providing strategic and operational guidance to teams, based on medical and scientific expertise and sound clinical judgment.
• Supporting product development and research programs
• Medical monitoring for clinical studies.
• Assisting in the preparation and review of documents for regulatory reports.
• Present clinical study outcomes and other critical data at various meetings which include but not limited to the PMDA and other regulatory authorities, academic conferences and medical congresses.
• Providing medical leadership and scientific guidance to CROs and Regulatory Affairs.
• Co-authoring protocols, clinical study reports and CTD Sections.
• Developing/maintaining strong relationships with internal and external scientific experts to lead the company’s interests from a medical perspective.
• Promoting and participating in a culture of learning and continuous education, including remaining current through literature review, attendance at medical/scientific meetings, etc.
• Providing coaching and subject matter expertise to team members and colleagues.
• Supporting in-licensing efforts by providing medical expertise and planning assistance
• Evaluating pipeline products to give input to decisions based on solid assessment of potential for development and resource needs.
◇応募資格（Requirements）
【必須要件】
・医師免許
・医師として5年以上の臨床経験
・高いリーダーシップやコミュニケーション力を有する方
・グローバルとのコミュニケーション力を有する方 (TOEIC 800 以上または同等)
【望ましい要件】
・内科、およびShionogiの戦略的重点分野における臨床経験、専門医資格は優遇
・博士号保持者は優遇
・製薬会社での勤務経験、治験責任医師としての経験は優遇
・License of a Medical Doctor
・At least 5 years of experience in clinical practice as a medical doctor.
・Strong leadership, influence, interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills
・Excellent English communication skill (over 800 in TOEIC or equivalent)
・Speciality and clinical experience in internal medicine, and/or the areas of strategic focus of Shionogi including infectious diseases is a plus.
・A Ph.D. degree is a plus
・Experience in clinical research as investigator in clinical trials or as medical expert/medical monitor in a pharmaceutical company or a CRO is a plus.

In formulating a global development plan for a clinical development program, it is requisite to build relationships with external experts and reflect cutting-edge ideas in the clinical trial plan. In order to make it happen, the role of an in-house doctor with specialized medical knowledge is essential. Furthermore, in conducting global clinical trials, monitoring from a medical perspective by an in-house doctor is required. Our company develops new drugs in various fields with a focus on infectious diseases, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about new drug development and can contribute to development from a medical and a global perspective.
