Lead product specific Market Access activities in Japan and lead/support in the rest of Asia, including :
・Support Value & Access Asia Head in planning/reinforcing Market Access capabilities for the region
・Provide Input into global market access development programs from an HTA and policy perspective
・Development of Japan product specific market access plans and support for rest of Asia as necessary
・Identification of country-specific needs that must be incorporated into regional and global strategy
・Local adaptation of global value story
・Lead Japan or coordinate Asia review of local HTA submissions to ensure content is aligned to meet local payer needs
・Perform Asia (inc Japan) focused health system related pathway cost and pressure point analysis and provide innovative improvement ideas
・Facilitate the adaptation of Pharmacoeconomic and Budget Impact models for the Asian region, or manage outsourced activity
・Conduct Asian relevant competitive analysis of payer landscape; conduct situation analysis of external pricing and reimbursement environment using a variety of sources; synthesize relevant information to develop strategic plans.
・Conduct interviews/ad boards with Asian payers and payer proxies to validate ideas and test clinical programs and pricing implications
・Conduct stakeholder mapping and develop engagement plan
・Identify Japan/Asia RWE needs and feed into evidence generation planning and development process
・Work with global value & access to input into pipeline developments, to optimize data relevance to Japan and Asian HTA requirements
・Ensure alignment between market access, R&D, commercial, medical affairs, regulatory affairs to ensure a jointly shared view of asset value
